1. Who this is for
Bharat Bicycles Club is a community platform for cyclists aged 13 and up. Membership is free (₹0). By joining, you (and, if you are under 18, your parent or guardian) agree to these terms.
2. Membership
- Every application is manually reviewed and approved by a Club admin before it becomes active — there is no instant sign-up.
- Sign-up uses a one-time code sent to your phone or email — there is also password to manage.
- Membership is free; the Club does not charge fees for standard membership.
3. Community content
Posts, photos, and ride stories are reviewed by moderators before they’re visible to other members — this keeps the community youth-safe. We may decline or remove content, or suspend an account, that violates community guidelines or applicable law.
4. Safety
A Safety Officer role exists within the Club to review reports and respond to safety concerns. If you see something concerning, report it — see Safety. Club rides and events involve physical activity; participate within your own ability and follow local traffic laws.
5. Events
RSVP’ing to a ride or event does not guarantee a spot; capacity and safety requirements (e.g. helmets, guardian accompaniment for younger members) may apply and will be stated on the event.
6. Acceptable use
- Be respectful — harassment, bullying, or unsafe encouragement toward other members is not allowed;
- Do not share another member’s personal information without their consent;
- Do not attempt to bypass content moderation or account approval.
7. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or remove a membership for violating these terms, on a safety officer’s recommendation, or as required by law. A member or their guardian may request account closure at any time — see Contact. Bharat Bicycles Club’s decision is final and binding.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Club and its platform are provided “as is.” Cycling carries inherent risk; the Club is not a substitute for your own judgment, local traffic law, or your guardian’s supervision. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here and, where practical, communicated to members directly.
